Headline completely grabbed my attention! Great post. We value volunteers but I was surprised to read the actual value they bring to an organization and to our overall economy. Excellent read.

I stopped doing anything with the Komen group (I used to have a big drive for them every year w/ my business) when I found out they are a huge donor to Planned Parenthood. PP's main business is abortions and there is a definite link between abortions and breast cancer (www.abortionbreastcancer.com) So I thought the same kind of thing you are saying here: SO,,,Komen supports the group that does abortions, the women then (possibly) get breast cancer and Komen comes out the hero because they are so 'supportive' of breast cancer victims...? UH,no.

Rob,

It sure was a challenge that had us all tearing our hair out at times, but in the end we came together to create a website that we all can be proud of and most importantly, our customers find user friendly and like alot. Thus far, feed back indicates, WE DID GOOD!

Thank you!

Sorry about the rollercoaster thing. We like our Clients to have a thrilling experience when working with us at Pemaquid, but that's not exactly what we had in mind.

Your site was our first using this particular e-commerce engine, and there was a lot to learn under the hood. I believe you'll find things will get better and better over time.

And hey, that which doesn't kill you makes you stronger! ;-) Good luck with your new site.

Sincerely, Your friendly neighborhood Webslingers at Pemaquid.
